This workshop is designed for playwrights who are ready to start sending their work out to theatres or submitting their scripts to competitions. Naomi Sumner, playwright, dramaturg and Reader’s Panel member for the National Theatre, will offer writers an insight into selection processes and what happens once their script arrives on a reader’s desk.

One Thousand Mindreaders is a year-long collaborative artwork during which the artist Stuart Nolan will train one thousand new mindreaders. Everyone is welcome to come and be a part of it. Through empathic touch and sensing the small subconscious movements of another person’s hand individuals will be able to ‘muscle read’ and recreate drawings that someone else is merely thinking of.
